Obituary of David Crerar

80 years. June 9, 2009. Late of Harrow. Born in Aberfeldy, Scotland April 4, 1929 and immigrated to Canada in 1952. Loving husband and best friend for 44 years of Elsa (Forsander) Beloved father of Heather and Mike Steinberg, Karl and Alison Crerar. Loving grandpa of Pamela, Sydney, Logan, Amanda and Jacob. Predeceased by his parents Grace and David Crerar and sisters Peggy (Norm) Fulmer, Betty (Bill) Stout and Dora (Alex) Cowan. Dear brother-in-law of Dorothy (Archie 2005) Davidson, Anita (Bruce) Notwell. Also loved and remembered by many nieces and nephews. Dave owned and operated the B/A & Gulf Stations in Harrow for 20 years. He also worked at Bruce C. Martin & Co. Harrow and served in the Scottish Military in Malaya. Dave retired in 1991 as an Automotive Technician Instructor at St. Clair College, Windsor with 13 years of service Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation on Thursday June 11, 2009 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Daves life will be held on Friday June 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Art Schiemann officiating. Interment Colchester Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Leamington District Hospital or Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
