Obituary of Helen Francis Maelbrancke (O'Brien)

90 years. Passed away August 26, 2009 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Late of Harrow. Predeceased by her husband Sylvester (1985). Beloved mother of the late Mary Anne (2002) and Hugh Sims, St. Albert, AB., Evelyn and Morley Abbott, Harrow, Larry and Laurel Maelbrancke, Stoney Plains, AB. Loving Nana of 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Helen was a member of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Amherstburg a member of St. Anthony's CWL and the Harrow Women's Institute. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Sunday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish and CWL prayers at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Monday August 31, 2009 where family and friends will meet at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Rick Janisse officiating. Interment at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Woodslee. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to St. Vincent De Paul Food Bank.
