59 years. June 8, 2008. Late of Harrow. Beloved husband and best friend for 27 years of Cheri Anne (Ryan). Loving dad of Thomas and Sharlotte Long, Belle River, Tammy Fairthorne, Windsor, Dan Long, North Bay, Ryan and Lindsay Long, Guelph, David and Ashley Long, St. Johns Nfld. Loving papa of Joscelyn, Jesse, Jenna, Ryam, Darak, Brayden, Joshua and Rachel. Special Uncle Butt Butt to Brandon, Emily and Ashley. Dear brother of Charlie and Lil Long, Robert and Patricia Long, Jan and Mike Roehler, Thomas and Rose Long, Norman and Pauline Long, Doris and Jim Bourassa, Veronica DeVreker and Marc Lanoue, Susan and Dave Gates, Roger and Lorraine Long and Anne McFadden. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. Jim was an administrator with the Harrow and Colchester South Boy Scouts for several years. Jim was a courier driver for 15 years with ICS. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Tuesday June 10, 2008 from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Jims life will be held on Wednesday June 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Mr. David Gates officiating.
