Obituary of G. Allen McLean

87 years. May 25, 2012. Late of Harrow. Loving husband and best friend of 63 years to Evelyn (Fox). Loving dad of Murdo (Marilyn) McLean, Harrow, Margaret McLean, Kingsville, Carol Ann McLean-Lake and the late Al Lake (2008), Edmonton, Douglas (Terry) McLean, Australia, Dennis (Peggy) McLean, Harrow. Loving grandpa of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother of Donald (Roberta) McLean, Murray (Wilma) McLean, Harrow, Predeceased by his brother Ray McLean, and sisters Shirley Herniman, Alma Townsend and Leah McDonald. Dear brother-in-law of Jack (Jane) Fox, Cottam, the late Donald Fox, and Marie Neuert. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Allen was a life time farmer, a member of the Harrow and Colchester South Fair board, charter member of Essex County Junior Farmers. Past chairman and trustee of the Harrow and Colchester South Public School Board, member on the Board of Management at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Essex County Milk Committee, Essex-Kent Jersey Association, Director Kent Essex Farm Mutual Insurance Board and an active member of the Harrow Community Seniors group. Visitation at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church 210 King St. E. Harrow Wednesday May 30, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until the service to celebrate Allen’s life 12:00 p.m. Interment Colchester Memorial Cemetery.
