Obituary of Frank Balind

Passed away peacefully at the Sun parlor Home for Senior Citizens on May 31, 2012 at 89 years of age. Late of Harrow. Beloved husband of the late Audrey W. (Wright) (2010). Loving father of Sandra (Victor) Rodriguez, David (Genevieve) Balind, Rick (Karen) Balind, Karen (Andre) Roy, Lisa (Richard) Adams. Loving grandfather of ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Anton Balind (1975) and Helene (Nagy) (1988). Dear brother-in-law of Joyce Pickering (Ross), the late Queenie, Madge and Avis. Frank served in active duty overseas in WWII with the RCAF as a photographer. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Sunday June 10, 2012 from 7 to 9pm in the Woodhaven Room Harrowood, 1 Pollard Drive, Harrow. A private Memorial Service will be held Monday June 11, 2012. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial donations to Windsor Regional Cancer Centre 2220 Kildare Rd. Windsor, ON N8W 2X3 or the charity of your choice.
