Dear Susan et al;
Im sorry that I was not able to attend your dads service last week. Your father was truly a catalyst in my education I loved high school Chemistry and he had a knack for making it interesting and relevant. To this day I keep a copy of the periodic table in my day timer. Some days he inspired me, sometimes chastised me, yet we had a mutual respect, something not entirely common in high school, even in the 70s.
We crossed paths over the years, as he walked the dog, several years ago we were blessed to purchase a cottage on Westchester Beach and re- joined the neighbourhood.
Perhaps one of the greatest compliments Ive ever been paid was in first year of Chemistry class, Mr. Williams proclaimed ME as the spark plug. Guess we both knew that I got it
..the original ah hah! It was a defining moment in my life and one Ill never forget. And Susan, a man is never gone until he is forgotten.
Best regards
