Obituary of Gary Arnew

70 years old, died peacefully on Tuesday June 26, 2012 from complication of a stroke he suffered at one of his favorite places, the golf course. Gary was an opinionated, strong minded, kind, generous and helpful man. He leaves behind his girlfriend, ex-girlfriend, friend, lover, partner and eventually wife (finally!) of 40 years Suzanne Wass (Norris). His adoring daughter Cindy Cobby who he talked with everyday! He was a loving grandpa of Jamie, Jessica (Sacha). Loving great grandpa of Alexandra and Brady. Dear brother of Gerald (Peggy) Arnew. Dear uncle of Wendy (Camile), Brian (Bonnie). Also remembered by his extended family Noelle (Dal), Merry, Patrick (Michelle), Lilly Wass, his golfing partners and Legion buddies. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow on Monday 7-9 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Gary’s life will be held on Tuesday July 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
