Obituary of John McKinley

McKINLEY, John H. 80 years. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on July 23, 2012, late of Harrow. Beloved husband and best friend of 56 years to Marilyn (Sinclair). Loving father of Cathy and Fred Herdman, Kingsville, Robert and Kim McKinley, Windsor. Loving grandfather of James, Matt, Sarah, Greg and Alyssa. Dear brother of Verona Perkins, Brandon, MB, Virginia and Garnet Goodridge, Virden, MB, Bert and Nancy McKinley, Whitby, David and Pat McKinley, Gladstone, MB. Predeceased by his sister Marion McRae. John was a life member of the Harrow United Church and A.O.T.S. Men’s Club. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation on Tuesday July 24, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate John’s life will be held on Wednesday July 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. David Steadman officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Harrow United Church or A.O.T.S. Men’s Club.
