Obituary of Laurence Bridgen
85 years. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on July 29, 2012. Beloved husband and best friend of 56 years to Irene (Couch). Loving dad of Neil and Jo-Anne Bridgen, Windsor, Hugh and Sandra Bridgen, Chatham, Laurene and Jeff Csikasz, Harrow. Loving grandpa of Brandon, Ryan, Melody (Larry), Alexandra, Hueston and Stephanie. Loving great grandpa of Valorie and Edwin. Dear brother of Cecil (Mona) Bridgen, Langley, B.C., Ernest (Ann) Bridgen, Windsor and Pearl, Mrs. Bill Sergison, London, the late Merrill and the late Delmer (Ila). Dear brother-in-law of Katherine Bridgen, Brampton and Evelyn (Bob) Burns, Essex. Laurence was a scout leader in Harrow for 11 years, a life member of the Harrow United Church, the A.O.T.S. Mens Club, past president and life member of the Harrow Fair Board. Laurence was inducted into the Essex County Agriculture Hall of Fame and was retired from the Harrow Farmers Co-op and Seagrams Distillery. Laurence sat on numerous Boards, Committees and service clubs. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation on Wednesday August 1, 2012 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Laurences life will be held on Thursday August 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrow United Church 45 Munger St. E.
