83 years. Passed away peacefully surrounded with love at Richmond Terrace on September 16, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Laramie (2002). Beloved mother of Jim (Jill) Laramie, Markham, Doug (Kathy) Laramie, Dan (Jill) Laramie, Malden, Patty (Brian) Masson, Amherstburg. Loving grandma of Amy (Jack), Denise (Joel), Brandon, Jordan, Kaitlin (Matt), Brian (Jenna), Cale, Andrea, Kristin, Jeff. Loving great grandma of Addison, Carter and Molly. Dear sister of Marilyn Bawtenheimer and the late Lorraine, Mrs. Fred Bailey. Dear sister-in-law of Wyman (Beulah) Laramie, late Donald and (Mildred) Laramie, Edna (late James) Duffy, Linda (Francis) Smith, late Laverne (Eleanor) Laramie, late Marvin (Elsie) Laramie. Loving aunt of several nieces and nephews. Jean was a Met Grad R.N. in 1950, she worked at Grace Hospital Maternity for 24 years. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow Tuesday September 18, 2012 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friends are invited to visit at 10:00 a.m. at Wesley United Church 365 Sandwich St. S. Amherstburg on Wednesday September 19, 2012 until a time of service to celebrate Jean’s life at 11:00 a.m. with Rev Del Stewart officiating. Interment Rosehill Cemetery, Amherstburg.
