JAEKEL, Paul Johannes
79 years. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Johannes Jaekel on November 5, 2012. He leaves behind his wife Maria Helena (Teves) who has lovingly stood by his side through his battle with Parkinsons Disease. He leaves behind the love and respect of his children Martin (Arunita) Jaekel, Windsor, Rita Jaekel, Nancy Jaekel, Harrow, Helen (Brian) Allen, Erica (Dorman) Pollett, Windsor. Dear Opa of Brandon, Chelsea, Brianne, Joshua, Noah, D.J., Hannah, Julia, Keya, Mia, Levi and Kylie. Loving son of the late Willy and Klara Jaekel. Dear brother of the late Bernard Jäkel, Gerhard (Anne) Jäkel, Margaret (Hubert) Mṻller, the late Martin (Josefa) Jäkel, Christa (Willy) Bollmann and Erika Jäkel all of Germany. Also remembered by many nieces, nephews, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and their families. A carpenter by trade with an unending love for gardening, he loved to watch things grow and took pleasure in the beauty of nature. A dreamer with a glorious sense of humour. A love for his Heavenly Father and earthly family that surpasses death and lives on in our hearts. We will be together again in eternity where there is no sickness and death but joy and laughter.
