LARAMIE, Wyman E.
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Windsor Regional Hospital on November 12, 2012 at the age of 90. Loving husband of 65 years to Beulah (Vollans). Son of the late Stanley and Norma Laramie. Loving father of Susan and Wayne Sass, Chatham, Rod and Ruby Laramie, Greg and Gail Laramie, Brad and Mary Jane Laramie, Jeff and Wendy Laramie, all of Amherstburg. Loving grandfather of Blake (Suzanne), Wes, Stephanie (Jason), Nathan, Chelsea, Cam, Felicia, Sarah Jane, Ashley, Jenna, Morgan and the late infant Katrina (1986). Dear brother of the late Marvin (Elsie), the late Donald (late Mildred), the late Doris, the late Melvin (late Jean), Edna Duffy (late James), the late Laverne (Eleanor), and Linda Smith (Frances). Dear brother-in-law of Wanda and Jim Stevenson. Born in Detroit, Michigan on November 2, 1922, Wyman moved to Malden Township in 1931 during the depression. He worked at Bruner Mond until he was drafted into the U.S. Air Force during WWII. Farming in Anderdon Township was his passion for the last 60 years. Wyman was a man who lived a simple, honest life and was respected by all who knew him. He will be truly missed. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation will be held on Wednesday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Family and friends will meet at Harrow United Church 45 Munger St. E. on Thursday November 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. to celebrate Wymans with Rev. David Steadman officiating. Interment Rosehill Cemetery, Amherstburg.
