Obituary of A. Lillian Weir

WEIR, A. Lillian (Temple) Passed away on November 21, 2012 at Royal Oak LTC, Kingsville. Born in Toronto on May 8, 1914. She loved to garden, bake, knit and read good books. Beloved wife of the late Frank Weir (1965). Predeceased by her sisters Jean Willson Gill, (Windsor) and Nellie Brown, (Livonia, MI.), brother James Temple, (LaSalle) and parents James and Annie Temple. Dear aunt to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews in both Canada and USA. Special acknowledgement to her many kind neighbours and friends for their years of friendship and devotion. It is because of their compassion, care and thoughtfulness that Lillian lived such a long, full and independent life in her own home. Also, a special note of thanks to the many administrators, nurses and caregivers at Royal Oak LTC Centre in Kingsville for providing her with so much comfort and care. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow on Monday November 26, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the service to celebrate Lillian’s life at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Gene Lotz officiating.
