Obituary of Grace Baylis

89 years. Born July 6, 1923 passed away on Saturday January 26, 2013, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Orville Wellington Baylis (1994). Loving mother of John Baylis, Edith and Joe Lewis, Betty Baylis, Richard and Joanne Baylis, Cora and Lyle Grayer, Roger and Louise Baylis, Vanessa and the late Samuel Hudson, Janet and Ervin Crosby, Terry and Stacy Griffith, Rhoda Baylis, Victoria Dora Baylis, Alvin Baylis, Rodney and Mickey Baylis. Predeceased by her daughter Doris (1961). Loving grandma of 43 grandchildren, 81 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Juanita, Earl, Hazel, Naomi, Ellwood, Gwen, Dorothy, Carl. Predeceased by her brothers Lawrence, Carter, Orville, Floyd and sisters Nettie, Rhoda and Mabel. Dear sister-in-law of Vida Mulder and Donald Baylis. Adored by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. Wednesday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Grace’s life will be held on Thursday January 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrow Baptist Church 2548 County Rd. 20 E. Harrow with Elder David Ennis officiating. Interment at St. Mark’s Church Cemetery, Colchester. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
