Obituary of Pia Rossi

ROSSI, Pia (Vaarna) It is with great sadness that the family of Pia Rossi announces her passing on the morning of February 9, 2013 at Leamington District Memorial Hospital, peacefully with her loving family by her side. She will be missed by many friends and family both in Canada and in her native Finland. Pia was an exceptional woman whose kindness and generosity left its mark on everyone she met. She is survived by her daughter, Leena Frost and her husband Jack Frost, her two grandsons Christopher Marentette and Nathan Marentette and their wives Julie Marentette and Jennifer Cincurak, and her seven great grandchildren, Zoe, Noah, Kaija, Theaden, Genevieve, Huxley, and Keaton (and puppy, Lucy). She is at peace and now joins her husband, Pekka (Peter) and her son, Peter to continue their journey as it should be, together. A Celebration of Memories will be held at Oxley Estate Winery, 533 County Rd. 50, Harrow, Ontario, 519-738-3264 on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m. All are welcome to join in our reflection of her life. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
