Obituary of Lyla Klie

KLIE, Lyla May (Blackman) 92 years. Passed away peacefully on February 27, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Edward Klie (1975). Loving mother of Vivian Affleck and husband Art. Loving grandmother of David Affleck (Linda), Keith Affleck (Heidi), Laurie McMahon (Jack). Great grandmother of T.J., Ian, Seth and Bridget. Predeceased by her parents Mary and James Blackman, brothers Lewis and Edward Blackman and sister Pearl Clark. Lyla and her husband Eddie ran Klie’s Store in the heart of Colchester for many years. She was a Life Member of Thistle Rebekah Lodge 194 for 65 years and a Past Noble Grand. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow Friday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Lyla's life will be held Saturday March 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church Colchester, 45 Bagot St. Colchester Village with Deacon Gene Lotz officiating.
