Obituary of Albert Johnson

Passed away peacefully on February 15, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Maria (Forray) 2013. Father of Scott Johnson, Blackstock and Shawn Johnson, Guelph. Stepfather of Laszlo Palotay, Toronto, Zoltan and Caroline Palotay, Harrow, Loving “Papa” of Jessica and Jacqueline. Loving Grandfather to Duncan, Gordon, April, Emily and Stephen. Dear brother of the late Ralph 2009 (Virginia) Johnson, Toronto, and Ronald (Norma) Johnson, Windsor. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. Al spent many evenings dining and dancing with close friends throughout Essex County and they will miss him dearly. Al was an avid snow bird and he will be missed by his pals in Lakeland FL. Al retired from Chrysler Canada in 1981 with over 31 years of service and was a member of the CAW Local 444. Resting at GERALD A. SMITH FUNERAL HOME 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home Thursday February 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Frank Staples officiating. Cremation to follow.
