Obituary of Frank Goyeau

GOYEAU, Dr. Frank 78 years. Passed away peacefully on Sunday May 12, 2013. Predeceased by his wife Dr. Pauline Gascon (2004). Loving father of Francois and Lesa Goyeau, Philippe Goyeau and Michael Waytkus, Dominique Goyeau, Michelle Goyeau and Larry Stanley and Melanie Goyeau. Loving grandpa of Derek, Rachel, Rebecca, Nicholas, Amber, Mary Frances, Katie, Joseph and Zach. Loving great grandpa of Scarlet, James, Mia, Ollie and Sebastian. Dear brother of Antoinette Fancsy and (the late Steve 1998), Raymond Goyeau, (the late Helen 2004) and Edwin Kornacki. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. Dr. Frank was a dedicated physician; he began his career in 1961 as a missionary in Africa with his wife Dr. Pauline. He continued his practice in Windsor, ON, Rogersville, TN, and finally at the Harrow Health Centre. Loved by his patients, his motto was “do not as I do, do as I say.” He had an amazing wit, loved entertaining, playing cards and he opened his heart to all those he touched. Memorial Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow Friday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 3:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Anthony of Padua Church 120 Munger St. W. Harrow on Saturday May 18, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. until the time of a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m., with Fr. Rick Janisse and Fr. Gary Goyeau officiating. Dr. Frank and Dr. Pauline’s ashes will be interred together at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Windsor.
