Obituary of James McIlwrick Murphy

MURPHY, Dr. James "Jim" McIlwrick 84 years. Passed away peacefully on August 28, 2016. Late of Harrow formerly of Blenheim. Beloved husband of Nancy (Hawkins). Also remembered by Nancy's son, Shawn Ellenberger, grandfather of Corey and Rachel, 4 step children and 4 step grandchildren. Survived by 2 half brothers and 1 half sister. James was an optometrist in the Blenheim area for 33 ½ years and retired in 1996. He was also a member of the Blenheim Rotary Club with 30 years of perfect attendance. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Jim's life will be held Wednesday August 31, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 11 Concession Rd 3 N, Amherstburg N9V 2Y9 with Pastor Tim Schneider officiating.
