Obituary of John Pretli

PRETLI, John Born in Hadad, Romania, passed away peacefully at WRH Met Campus surrounded by his loving family on October 2, 2016 at 80 years of age. Beloved husband of Elaine (Popovich) with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Cherished father of Michael, Lisa Lima, Lori Nolen (Mike), and Mary Benoit (Gary). Adored Opa of Jack, Matthew, Brooke, Jenna, Chelsey and Trevor. Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. John is survived by sister Anna (the late Matthias Rimschneider) and sister-in-law Elisabeth Pretli. John is predeceased by parents Frank (1976) and Anna (1980), brothers George (2014) and Frank (1938) as well a 4 other siblings. John was a loyal employee of GM Trim for nearly 31 years. After his retirement in 1996 John enjoyed the company of his loved ones, as well as keeping up an immaculate lawn and garden. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Thursday October 6th from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Friday October 7th at Christ Lutheran Church Harrow, with Pastor Gerhard Maag officiating.
