Obituary of Kathleen Mae Kennedy

KENNEDY, Kathleen (Anderson) The love in our family flows strong and deep leaving us memories to treasure and keep. Kathleen Mae Kennedy March 31, 1932 – January 3, 2017. Amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. Kaye as she was known by many is now at peace and free from pain. Loved wife of James for 63 years. Much loved mom of Chris and Jackie, Jim and Tami, John and Liz, Lisa and Dave Durocher, Mary Ryan and Rob Gibb, Robert and Martine, Carol and Kevin McIntosh and Peter Smith. Predeceased by her son Paul (1993) and daughter Janet (1996). Very proud grandma (Nana) to 21 grandchildren and great grandma to 13 great grandchildren, who will remember her for her kind heart and beautiful smile. Dearest sister to Edward Anderson and sister-in-law to Ina Szarka, Don and Jean Kennedy, Susan Kennedy. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Friday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Saturday January 7, 2017 where family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church 225 Brock St. Amherstburg for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Brian Jane officiating. Interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to Harrowood and LDMH staff for their care and compassion.
