Obituary of Steven Izsak

IZSAK, Steven Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on January 7, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband the late Elizabeth "Betty" (Gall) (2014). Loving father of Barb and late Gary (2014) Wilson, MI, Brenda and Ron Wood, Harrow and the late Steve Izsak Jr. (2004). Loving grandfather of Cayla Wood and Amanda Wilson. Dear brother of John (late Joan) Izsak, Theresa (Julius) Chikos, late Frank (Helen) Izsak, Lydia (late Willie) Lee, late Julie and late Irene. Also remembered by his cousins and many nieces and nephews. Steve was a petty officer in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1950 to 1956. He served in active duty in Korea and did two tours on the Sioux and the Huron. Steve was a life member of the RCLB #338 in Harrow. Resting at GERALD A. SMITH FUNERAL HOME 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Memorial and RCLB #338 Service Thursday January 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment of ashes at Colchester Memorial Cemetery.
