Dear Howard, David and Heather
So sorry to hear of your Fathers passing, Looking back Your Dad was very instrumental of How I come to be who I am , Staring from Sunday School, ( I wasn't very attentive, but your Dad was patient) . Further on in The Cub and Scout programs Along with your Uncle Alvin , which really taught me some unknown lessons .
Then Taking me on at the Factory when it was straight out of high school , Where I really had the opportunity to find and shape myself , and giving me opportunities to excel myself in work and to learn so much which I still use those lessons today.
Your father was a very special product for the town of Harrow, and innovator and foresaw the future and to take those risk taking chances to better those all around him and the Town . He will be missed, by all . I thank your father for all of this and more indirectly he shaped my life .
My Sincere Condolences

Such fond memories... A few from my youth are shared here: Walter and Donna often welcomed me to the dinner table when I arrived unexpectedly to play with David, Heather and Howard downstairs; Walter encouraged me to get my pilot's licence; Walter would drive Howard, David, Harrison & Scotty to Militia exercises and marches when we were active in the Essex & Kent Scottish Reserve.

Darlene and I offer our sincere condolences to the Sellick family for the loss of Walter
.
We were fortunate enough to have had a long history of working the Sellick organization for many years and Walter was a major part of our relationship with the family. He made us feel welcome in the Harrow community and has been a good friend to the Ramsey family over these years.
My father and I were most appreciative of the working relationship that developed with Walter, Howard and David. This was a great period of development and challenges, but was also a lot of fun along the way.
Walter will be greatly missed.

Sincere Sympathy To The Sellick Family, it has been a pleasure to have known your family patriarch, Walter.
Howard and David, never is to be forgotten is the experience of your leasing initially a portion of the former Clark Foods Plant, then being vacated by Green Giant. I as the former Chief Engineer at that location would be your contact in regard to some of the issues which would arise on occasion. With I having been born in Harrow, however raised and living in Oldcastle area, while related to a few in Harrow area and then later being employed by Clark, It was great to see the arrival of your company to somewhat ease the employment situation and help the local economy due to the closure of that plant.
Walter has certainly left a legacy, while foremost is that of his family.

Howard, David and Heather and your families, may you be comforted today. Your father was a quiet delightful man who often had a smile for us at Church. I remember hearing in 1965 how he was a pillar of the Church by his work in the Sunday School and his generosity. I also remember him attending "the Bishop's Dinner" with David. I will keep a picture I took of him and Bishop Bob Bennett at St Andrew's just about 2 year ago. He looked so happy that day.
Walter, by his actions, has benefitted the town of Harrow greatly by establishing his business here and giving jobs to so many, Thank you Walter and thank you, his sons, for continuing to stay with this town. Many appreciate it.
A while ago I visited him at home and we spent a pleasant half-hour chatting. His love of flying was obvious and his ability to hear news of people he knew and loved revealed him as a good listener.
We have lost one of God's beloved servants. He was faithful throughout his life to God, his family, his community and Canada. I am so glad I knew him.
Our sincere sympathy to you all on the loss of a good father.
