I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. He used to be long time friends of my parents who are now in heaven also. May he be with his wife and talking some good stories with my parents. Know he is at peace.

John was always interesting to talk with and I know Marilyn was central to his life until her death in 2003. John generously offered me a lovely white gown that Marilyn had worn and I have used it for years as I served in each of our three churches.Last year I retired, but I hope there are opportunities to use it on certain occasions. I am sorry that recently I did not know John was ill or I would have visited him. He had a good long life and I am sure you will all miss him. May you be comforted by your on faith and happier memories. Jane (pastoral care)
