Dear Shirley, Louis, Mary and Jim,
You have lost one of the kindest men I have known. Lorne loved all of you so much and was a good friend to so many of us. He was tired of all the difficulties from poor health and breathing, he has had in recent years. God saw that and took him home.
He taught me a lot about plants and he always welcomed me to his home with you, Shirley. I am glad we had that relationship when he could not make it to Church.
i know he had the hope of eternal life and he deserved it.
May you be comforted by your faith, your happy memories and your united family life. God bless you all.
Love,Jane

Shirley, I and my wife Extend a Sincere Sympathy To You and Family in Your Great Loss.
To introduce myself, I worked at Clarks in the Power House, while your mother Marion worked in the Office and your brother-in-law Horst Treulieb, a very talented Controls Instrument Technician, worked in Production. Sadly then, Green Giant (formerly Clarks) would close and your mother and I would transfer to their Tecumseh Plant.
The Pilbeams and the Town of Harrow are never forgotten and with your mother and I working in the same office in Tecumseh, she would keep me posted as to the happenings in Harrow. Harrow being my birthplace in 1931 is somewhat the place of my roots and never forgotten, although I would live at Oldcastle for over seventy years, however am related and/or connected to many of the Harrow area families either by blood or by intermarriage of these.
Thus she and I including Roger Putnam from Harrow and also working at Tecumseh certainly infiltrated that office and shared many enjoyable moments, while a few others from Clarks whom I would see on occasion would work at other locations, Windsor and London for the Green Giant.
Well, now living in Niagara Falls and due to distance we can only share your grief by Prayer and In Spirit.
