Hello,
I do not know any of Don's family but I wanted to tell them that I enjoyed talking to Don. Don would ride his bike and stop in to talk with me. I live at 51 Sullivan and I would be working in the yard or building the new home and Don would stop by for a chat. We talked about how his home had oil heat and knob and tube wiring. He would talk about the good old days. I will miss him. I have this thing I do, when my grandfather passed many years ago when I was just a teen I was allowed to select a tool of his. I selected a hammer head no handle just a head that was painted orange, I still use that hammer on every project I work on. It is like my grandfather is with me when I use it. I would like to have something simple like this that Don used so he can do projects with me in the future. If you are having a garage sale or just cleaning out his home please give me a call.
