Again from Canada we received a sad message, that after Lammert and her son Karl, our beloved sister-in-law and aunt Lilian has passed away.
In this letter we would like to share our feelings and tell you about how we have known her and how she will live in our minds.
We have known Lillian as a sweet, interested woman who was very caring for our brother and uncle, Lammert Klein Lebbink, whom she married in 1985. We enjoyed her involvement with Lammert’s family in the Netherlands. The family visits every two years have been very special for us and Lammert's mother. It was a mutual enjoyment.
Lilian had a great sense of humor and, more than once, her comments made us laugh a lot. And eating together was one of the highlights of these weeks.
Also her hospitality was great and we very welcome in Amherstburg.
The last years of her life was not an easy period. All kinds of physical complaints made her dependent and that was exactly what Lilian did not want. She was very devoted to her house at Lake Erie, where she had had great years together with Lammert.
Forced by illnes, she had to leave this precious place. After Lammert's death on December 22 2016 she was very sad and she missed Lammert very much. We kept contact, but life had become heavy because of her loss. Fortunately, Karen, Kathy and Gordon came to see her regularly, she told. She was very happy with your visits.
Dear Lilian, you were a great sister-in-law and aunt for us. With your humor and love, you have given life color. Not only for Lammert, but also for your Dutch family .
Dear Lillian, thank you for all those beautiful years. Although we were far away from eachother in distance, it felt close because of the warm contacts we had.
You were a fantastic, warmhearted person.
Thank you for everything and especially for the love you gave to our Lammert.

The people from beyond
They are interwoven with us ... "
Lots of love from Betsie and Henk, Jansje and Gerrit and their children

Dear Karen and Family.
I am saddened to learn of your mothers passing. Both your mother and Clem have always been very good to me, and we have shared many great times and good laughs over coffee and dinner. I sure will miss them both.
My sincere condolences to you and your family.
Monique
