Obituary of David Angus Gillan

GILLAN, David Angus 83 years. September 9, 2017. Beloved husband of 58 years to Theresa (Drouillard). Loving father of Christopher (Maureen), Denise Gillan-Kuzniar (Ron) and Karen. Cherished Papa of Tanya, Lee (Liz), Ryan, Hannah, Matthew (Melissa), Andrew (Jessica) and great grandchildren Dylan, Tyler, Zachary, Tristan and Arthur. Son of the late Angus and Flossie. Dear brother of Helen Maisonville, (Mike 2013), Robert (Gloria), Bruce (Anne Marie), Doug (Patti), Elaine (Doug) Bezaire. Dear brother-in-law of Lucille Reeb (Clare 2015), Jeannette Ostrow (2014) and John (1998), Madeleine Boussey (Gerry), Marie Burns (Ray), Florence Quennville (2012) (Eli), Paul Drouillard (Diane), Angela Sylvester (Paul), Bernadette McLean (Ken). Also remembered by his nieces and nephews. David retired from Ford Motor Co. in 1994 with 31 years of service, a member of Unifor 200, Honorary Life Member of K of C Council #2844. David also enjoyed vacationing in Hawaii and spending time at Wildwood by the Lake in Morpeth.Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Tuesday September 12, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish and K of C prayers at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Clement Parish 9567 County Rd. 11 McGregor, ON., at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 13, 2017 until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Clement Church Cemetery.
