Our sincere sympathy to Elwin and family. Janet was a wonderful neighbour and friend on the Potlake/Gore Road. We enjoyed visiting with Janet and Elwin on the farm over the years and after they moved to Kingsville. There were always lots of laughs. We live in Peterborough and don't make it to Kingsville very often anymore, but we had great chats on the phone.....especially when Janet and Dave got carrying on.

It's with great sadness we are saying goodbye to our Aunt Janet McLean. We all have heavy hearts with this passing but her suffering is over. There are quite a few memories that we will cherish. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Uncle Elwin and Janets family.

Dearest Elwin, we are sending you many heartfelt sympathies at this time of monumental grief and loss. You and Janet have always held a special spot in our hearts and we are trying desperately to absorb the news of Janet's passing. My heart aches thinking that we spoke just before the Harrow Fair and I had promised that we would come by soon for a visit after all of the hoopla, and just like the full moon my promise diminished day by day until now it's too late. My sincerest apologies. We will miss her mischievous laugh that came so easily whenever we were together enjoying a family gathering or a late night coffee around the kitchen table. Walt has many fond memories of "farmer" disking @ break neck speed ahead of him in the field trying to make sure the crops got planted. Despite feeling as though Janet died young, she did it as late as possible because of her great love for you and although we feared this day, she will live in our tender and loving memories. Much love to you always.
