Donna lived a wonderful loving and caring Christian life at home, with friends, at church, and wherever she was. She had a real heart for children and wanted them to know and love Jesus. And so we remember her as a great Sunday School and Vacation Bible School worker. Great memories of our time in Colchester, and then about once a year seeing John & Donna at Miller Lake when they came up with their trailer when we often went out for a meal together and got caught up on their news. Like a caterpillar seems to die in a crysallis, Donna only has seemed to die. She has entered the cysallis stagine to be transformed into a beautiful butterfly when the Lord comes again and will have a glorious body like Jesus Himself. She has entered her rest and her works do follow her. But we all will miss her until we meet again.

I will always remember Donna as I grew up in my childhood and how she was such a strength to all the children in Sunday School and the many Christmas Concerts. Matthew, Greg and Karen still have Sunday School Books which Donna gave to them in their accomplishments in Sunday School or participating in the Christmas Concerts. Rick, Rocky and family, I offer my sincerest condolences I just decided to read the paper tonight and four people I know passed away in the last few days. Losing a loved one is so hard to deal with and you need your family and friends to be around you right now. I light a candle for a beautiful Christian woman who gave us an example of a loving humble life, lived for her Maker and her family. Donna's gentleness always touched me and her genuine desire to remember everyone who passed through her life. She had an inner resilience that came from her faith and the way she was brought up to love God, her family and her Church. If only we could light candles for all the events she was involved in, at Church, she would be surrounded by light. Jesus is the light of the world and Donna and John, in their back pew together, were one of the lights of true faith at Christ Church. God's love for her took her away soon without pain; for that I am glad that she has gone on to a better life. I will miss your gentle smile, Donna and send our condolences to all the family members who still love her. May you be comforted by Jesus who said,"I will be with you to the end of the world."
