GURECKAS, Tonia Antose (Stankus) Sunrise: July 10, 1928 - Sunset: October 12, 2017 Passed away at 89 years, peacefully at home to be with the love of her life Antanas (1970). Loving mother of Audrius (Cathy) Gureckas, Aidis (Sharon) Gureckas, Vida (Larry) Durocher, Saulius Gureckas. Dear grandmother of Alyssa (Mike), Angel (Ryan), Kristen (Derek), Vida (Jason), Andrea, Alanna (Chris), Ashleigh-Anne, Aidis Jr. (Jodi), Ashley (Ashleigh) and great grandchildren Phoenix, Antanas, Grayson, Austen, Autymn, Summer, Hudson, Finley, Sawyer, Dallas, Ethan, Nash, Layla and Austin. Dear sister of Justinas (Biruta) Stankus, and the late Albinas Stankus (1997) (Stella), late Stase (2017) (late Bill 2016). Also remembered by many nieces, nephews and her furry friends Whisky and Lucky. Toni was the proud owner of the Harrow Hotel. She found joy in spending time at her summer cottage with her grandchildren, gardening, playing cards and taking trips to Florida with her friends. Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday October 24, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Lithuanian Martyrs' Catholic Church 2185 Stavebank Rd. Mississauga, ON. L5C 1T3. Interment of ashes at St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Alzheimers's Society or the Windsor–Essex Humane Society.
