CARREIRA, Maria de Jesus (Costa)

85 years. Passed away peacefully on October 27, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Manuel Carreira. Loving mother of Amilcar (Margaret) Carreira, Edgar (Carol) Carreira and predeceased by her infant daughter Margaret. Cherished grandmother of Alanna, Kevin (Jessica), Gary (Ashton), Scott (Christina) and great-grandmother of Kyla, Tanner, Layla and Thea. Maria will also be remembered by many brothers, sisters and extended family in Portugal and the U.S. Visitation will be held at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow on Thursday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will take place Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church 120 Munger St. W. Harrow, with Rev. Fr. Rick Janisse officiating. Interment at Colchester Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or a charity of your choice.
