Obituary of Audrey Eileen Simpson

SIMPSON, Audrey Eileen (Dufton)

April 21, 1933 – November 18, 2017

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the age of 84. Beloved mother of Terry (Bob) Stevenson, the late Tim Simpson (2013), Gary (Audrey) Simpson, Doug Simpson. Loving grandmother of Cortney, Casey, Carey, Amanda, Annick, Katie, Jeremy, Stacey, Tina, Mary Ann, Tom and others. Great grandmother of Cody, Lexi, Reece, Sierra, Devon, Conner and others. Dear sister of Elsie (Jerry) Walker, Ila (Bernie) Colombe and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Thomas Dufton (1985) and Grace Dufton (nee Sullivan) (1978) and her siblings Ted Dufton (1957), Margaret Brennan (2003) and Ruth Purdy (2005). Audrey started work at Robert W. Purdy Insurance in June of 1966 and retired as an insurance broker well into the new millennium. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow on Thursday November 23, 2017 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Audrey's life will be held on Friday November 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation to follow.
