Earl and family, I was so sorry to hear about Betty, especially since I was looking forward to visiting this coming week. Doug and I would still like that visit - we'll call first. Betty and Norma were such a beloved part of our family during my childhood. There are so many fond memories at Rondeau and at their home on Ypres and at all family gatherings. They were the young adults, fresh and fun and always a beehive of activity surrounded them. I was Betty's flower girl, and was so honoured. That wedding, and the time leading up to it, taught me so much about love. Betty was so totally in love with you, Earl, so completely happy, that at the age of 15, I knew that's what I had to search for in my life. Betty was always so kind, always so ready with a laugh and a compliment. She thought the best of everyone, and for me, that was a great gift. I'm happy that I got to see her and Norma one last time on my last trip to Windsor. They'll never be forgotten as long as I live. Meg
