Dear Mrs. Affleck and family. We were travelling in the maritimes after attending the All Canadian Sheep Classic Show and Sale when we heard of Dave's tragic and untimely death, and are so sorry we couldn't attend the visitation or funeral. Dave was a friendly and caring soul to many in the purebred sheep business, including ourselves. He always did a great job for the sheep breeders at Leamington Fair, and a friendly face at the Royal Winter Fair. He will be missed.

We are so saddened to hear about Dave. He was the most helpful person when my boys and I were looking for silkies. He got our family our first pair of chickens and we are forever greatful for all his help when they started showing them at the fair. He will be missed.
