80 years August 15, 2018. Beloved husband of Alda Maria (Alves). Loving father of John (Deborah), Dan (Nella) Margaret (Jaysen) Sorrell. Dear avô of Justin, Alec, Olivia, Alexandra, Sierra, Jessamine and Lawreyana. Dear brother of Geraldino (Isaura) Cacilhas, Manuel (late Maria) Cacilhas. Predeceased by his sisters Natalia Atanasio, Georgina Cacilhas, Maria Cacilhas and brother Jose. John retired from Chrysler Canada in 1991 with 27 and ½ years of service and he was a member of Unifor 444. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Friday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Joao's life will be held on Saturday August 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Colchester Memorial Cemetery.
