CORDEIRO, Joao “John”

80 years, passed away November 5, 2018. Loving husband of 58 years to Maria Conceicao (Tavares). Loving father of Agueda (Paul) Cacilhas, Alphonse (Connie) Cordeiro,  the late Zulmira (2009) and the late John (2001).  Loving grandfather of Tina (Sam), Steven (Danielle), David (Keisha), Julia, Emily, Nicholas and great grandchildren Surriya, Sophia, Saeed, Salaah and Mackenzie. Dear brother of Geraldina Medeiros. Predeceased by his brothers  Manuel, Antonio and sister Maria. John retired in 2000 from Chrysler Canada with 35 years of service. He was a member of Unifor 444, K of C Council 5350 and Camoes Portuguese Club. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Wednesday 7-9 p.m. Thursday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends will meet on Friday November 9, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Rick Janisse officiating. Interment Colchester Memorial Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made by cheque to the charity of your choice.
