McCORMICK, Velda (Cook) 98 years. Went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on February 2, 2019. Predeceased by her husband John Carl McCormick (1994). Dear mother of Valarie McKay. Dear grandmother of Teresa Ann (Jeff) Heaton and Carl McKay. Dear great grandmother of Lucas and Russell Heaton. Dear sister of the late Fern (George) Armstrong, Margaret (late Owen 2009) Sangster, Jean (late Jay 2009) Richardson. Predeceased by her brothers Clayton (1977), Garnet (2003), Allard (2007). Survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow on Wednesday February 6, 2019 from 6-8p.m. A service to celebrate Velda's life will be held Thursday February 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrow Baptist Church 2548 County Rd. 20 E. with Pastor Steve Forsey officiating.
