Obituary of Gerhard Goerzen

GOERZEN, Gerhard 92 years. Passed away peacefully on March 5, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Susie (Nikkel) (2006). Loving father of John Goerzen, Harrow, Mary and John Goerzen-Sheard, Elmira. Loving Opa of Katie and Wesley. Dear brother of Edith (late George) Penner, Leamington and Melita (Richard) Graber, South Dakota. Friend, cousin and loving uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews. Gerhard was a lifelong and dedicated farmer. He was a charter member and active participant of the Harrow Mennonite Church. He supported many Mennonite organizations, including Leamington Mennonite Home and Silver Lake Mennonite Camp. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Friday March 8, 2019 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Gerhard's life will be held on Saturday March 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrow Mennonite Church 3167 Walker Rd. Harrow with Rev. Karen Sheil officiating. Interment at Colchester Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Harrow Mennonite Church or the Leamington Mennonite Home.
