Obituary of Ellie A. Weston

WESTON, Ellie Annie Mary (Miskie) Passed away peacefully in her sleep April 11, 2019 at the age of 81. Loving mother of L. Joseph Weston and Roberta (Heather Smyth) Weston. Loving grandma of Kelsy Marois. Dear sister of Edna (Jack) Currie, Isabelle "Trudy" (Alan) Arneill and brother-in-law Robert Stephen. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Elizabeth (Pegelo) Miskie and siblings Alvin, Joseph Jr., and Rubbie Stephen. Also remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. The family expresses their thanks to her caregivers at Harrowood Seniors Community, the Sun Parlor Home and the Alzheimer's Society for many years of care. Ellie was an accomplished legal secretary, dedicated volunteer to St. Paul's Lutheran Church - Guelph, the Eastern Synod and ELW, and as an avid motorcyclist she rode her own bike as a Canadian member of the Motor Maids of America. Visitation on Monday April 22 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W Harrow. A funeral service to celebrate Ellie's life will be held on Tuesday April 23, 2019 at All Saint's Lutheran Anglican Church, 210 Silvercreek Pkwy N, Guelph with visitation at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Chesley Cemetery.
