Obituary of Harry Vollans
Harry died peacefully surrounded by his family after a brave battle with cancer. He approached each day with joy and gratefulness and passed many stories and blessings on to everyone. Harry and his wife Mary celebrated 61 years of marriage on June 27th. Harry was predeceased by his parents Lester and Nellie, his son David (1967), his daughter Mary Anne (2012), and his siblings Muriel (John), Perry, Ivan, and Bill.
His children include (Mary Anne) and Ralph Trealout, Jeanie and Jay Gaudette, Henry and Connie, Pat Beaudoin, Michael and Bernadette, Kathy and George (Driedger), (David), and son-in-law, Bill. Harry was blessed with lots of wonderful grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. His surviving siblings are Mae (Doug), Dorothy and Dave, Anice (Marvin) and Bills wife, Nelda.
Harry had a healthy competitive drive, especially with his gardening. He loved to share his produce with everyone. Five-pin bowling was not only fun for him, he always tried to improve his score. He worked hard managing the grain elevator in McGregor and enjoyed the social interactions with all who brought him their grain. Harry loved nature and spent many happy hours walking or biking. Whenever he had a chance, Harry stopped to chat with everyone. He always had a friendly greeting and a story to tell. Harry never forgot a face each one was important to him.

We extend our deepest thank-you to CCAC who coordinated St. Elizabeths and Bayshore support teams. The compassion and care they shared with our Dad enabled him to stay in the home he built for Mom and our family.
Surely You have granted him unending blessings and made him glad with the joy of Your presence. Psalm 21-6
