Dear Blanche and family.
I met Don several years ago after a bike accident he had and got to know him along his road to recovery. He was such a nice guy, always making those around him laugh with his quick wit and jokes.
I had no idea he was ill, as it’s been a while since I’ve ran into him. I do know how much he will be missed, especially when it comes to his hard work at the Legion. The Harrow community definitely lost a good one.
May you all find comfort in your memories of happier, healthy times with Don.

I met Don at St. Clair College many years ago and we kind of hit it off right from the start. Had a prompted him into becoming a Legion member (which he did) and turned out to be a GREAT President of the Harrow Branch. Most proud to have known Don throughout the years and now my friend R.I.P.

Sadly, I will be out of town on June the 9th but please know that I will remember Don with respect and affection on that day and in the future for his wonderful example and many years of hard work dedicated to the Harrow Legion and veterans. My sympathy goes out to Blanche and his family while I hold them in my heart and hope that Don has joined dear friends who have gone before him. Rest in peace good guy.
