I remember the Sundays when the Krizan family would walk into church and heads would turn to see the line of children. Those were the days when Brethren would gather to praise the Lord and thirst for the word. It was a white church, small but comfortable, and most of all the love towards each other shone there. Here is a few verses form a song I'm sure most cherish. May we all meet on that beautiful shore. Rest in peace Brother Ed Krizan, Jesus is coming soon.
There's a church in the valley by the wildwood
No lovelier spot in the dale
No place is so dear to my childhood
As the little brown church in the vale
There, close by the side of all loved ones
'Neath the tree where the wild flowers bloom
When farewell hymns shall be chanted
I shall rest by Christ's side in the tomb
Till we meet on that beautiful shore.

My condolences to the Krizan Family. Now Edward is bound for glory. Till we meet on that Heavenly shore.
Many times in my childhood
When we travelled so far
By nightfall how weary I'd grow
Father's arms would slip 'round me
And gently He'd say
"My child, we're going home".
CHORUS
Going Home, Going Home
There is nothing to hold me here
I've caught a glimpse of that heavenly land
And now I'm Going Home.
Now the twilight is fading
The day soon will end
I get homesick, the farther I roam
But the Father, He has led me
Each step of the way
And now, I'm Going Home.

Thinking of you all, Uncle Ed was a “nifty” guy. My sincere condolences to the entire family. Sending my love.

My sincere condolences to all of you. Uncle Ed was a sweet jolly soul. I remember many hangouts at his house eating popcorn and other yummy treats. He also always liked to talk about my Honda Civic and make sure I was taking care of it. I will miss you Uncle Ed.
