VAN DEN DRIESSCHE, Reta Cecilia (Bondy)
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Reta Cecilia Van Den Driessche (Bondy), our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to who’s lives she touched dearly on July 20, 2019. She was born on March 25th, 1932 to the late Ivan (1962) and Mabel (Fox) (1962) Bondy. Beloved wife of Julius (June 2000). Devoted mother of Jim (Debra) of Essex, Joy (Shawn) Hamlin of LaSalle, Jenny (Ron Beaulieu) of Harrow, Judy LaFontaine of Windsor, Joey of USA. Predeceased by her son John (2005). Beloved sister of Robena (late Robert) Anderson. Predeceased by her siblings John, Glen, Eric, Boyd, Robert, Marwood and Norris Bondy, Jean Halpert, Doris Brimner, Marion Bondy, Noreen Voegeli and Effie Botsford. Dearest Sister in Law of Art (Louise) Van Den Driessche, Remi (Diane) Van Den Driessche, Pat (Gloria) Van Den Driessche. Predeceased by Louis (Corrine) Van Den Driessche, Bernice (Lawrence) Chevalier and Brenida (Reg) Chevalier. Reta was “so very proud” of her many grandchildren and great grandchildren and the memories she made and shared with all of them, will be those that last a lifetime. Reta is also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St W, Harrow Visitation on Monday July 22,2019 from 6-8 p.m. A service to celebrate Reta’s life will be held on Tuesday July 23, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
