86 years. July 8, 2014. Predeceased by his wife Eva (Miller-Schmidt 2002). Loving father of Henry and Helen Schmidt, the late Hilde Lavery(2008)(Glen). Loving grandpa of Joseph (Teresa) Schmidt, Karen (Michael) Kreibich, Debra (Steve) Webster, Cheryl (Rick) Boyes, Paula Rivard and opa to Ashley and Gabrielle Boyes, Brittany and Michael Jr. Melanie Rivard, Michael Kreibich Jr., Alex, Matthew and Andrew Schmidt, Christopher and Nathan Webster. Predeceased by his parents Joseph Sr. (1952), Maria (1968) sisters Margaret (1994) and Ilona (1999). Also remembered by several nieces and nephews in Hungary. Joe retired from Dominion Forge in 1987 with 25 years of service. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Thursday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate Joe’s life will be held Friday July 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Boyes officiating.
