If this is read by anyone this late , 2023, I do hope it is a consolation ,now that the grief (mhas been observed) and processed into the point that a sense of joy enters your mind of the life lived and gift to the persons who knew him. I Am NOT one who was privileged quite so much . I realize no one , if anyone reads this, has any idea who I am. I simply wanted to praise God, for the man, Max McLean, as I know him now.
I would love , and do often try , to tell my story , but won’t here, however it is a struggle with
‘’life” . I am the man , perhaps imagined in mind as Christ spoke of the house built on the Sand, ; “. Great was it’s fall”. However the fall led me to meet the ONE, ‘ lifter of my head’ , and as I found a Saving grace, Mr. McLean was the lightning rod that God used in fullest sense to help illuminate in awe and wonder a redemption and then craving for the word, read on now over night into my mind and days Into my soul to let me see what I had only heard of. I suppose I mean to say, this lighting rod who gave his life to serving GOD in a difficult light, on stage , where I know firsthand, can lead one to worship the praise of man. I don’t see this the case for this gentleman, and giant of faith who bellowed so powerfully though voice and oration that shook the foundations I built a new life in ‘Christ on, the true rock, the one God used this man to led me into a world that lets me now taste and see , and hear as well through the power of this man of faith’s voice alone. I envy you who knew this man, his life echoed The Word, and it resounds to this day in my lives and others as well, I know no other way to honor both him and those who shared him with the world.

When I had occasions to stop in to see Max, his response to, "How are you doing Max," was always, "Mean and miserable." One day, he gave his usual response when I had my granddaughter in tow. As we left, she said, "I don't believe that at all." Even a young child meeting Max for the first time recognized a man with a big, kind, gentle heart who had a twinkle in his eye just as so many people saw him. Rest in peace, Max. May your life time of love comfort your whole family.
