Obituary of Dorothy Anne Maitre

MAITRE, Dorothy Anne (Bondy) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 2, 2020 at the age of 86. Loving mother of Ken (Jackie) Maitre, Patty (Larry) Watson, Jim (Linda) Maitre and Colleen (Denis) Dupuis. Loving grandma of Bob, Erica (Dave), Becky (Kyle), Amy (Matt), Rachel, Ryan, Eric, Taylor, Dalton. Loving great grandma of Maddie, Sarah, Rory, Alex, Ben, Charlotte and Matthew. Daughter of the late Norman (1989) and Sylvia (1983) Bondy. Dear sister of Vincent (Irene) Bondy, Rosemary (Jean) Trepanier. Predeceased by her brothers Garnet, Ivan, Ronnie, Tom and Chuck. Dear sister in law of Marie Bondy. Also remembered by many nieces, nephew and friends. Dorothy was a special constable and court officer with the Colchester South Township Police. She retired in 2002 with 22 years of service. A special thank you to all the staff at Richmond Terrance LTC, Amherstburg for their loving care and compassion of our mom. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Wednesday February 5, 2020 from 6-9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate Dorothy's Life will be held Thursday February 6, 2020 at 11:30 a.m at the funeral home.
