Dear Theresa and Family, What a wonderful man Ronnie was. I often remember the times that my Mom would ask me to tell my dad that supper was ready. If my dad was not in his shop working on his pumps I knew exactly where to go - Ridsdales. My Dad would talk Ronnie's ear off and Ronnie didn't mind at all. What a great man! My deepest condolences to the McDonald Family.

Yes Barbie my hair is safe. I am so sorry I played hair dresser when we were little and cut off your long, beautiful curls. I am so sorry I didn't get to see you but I saw Norman and James on the day of dads funeral. Your mother was an amazing loving person, just like my mom!

Theresa, Carl, Mary, Jeff, Judy, & Families, I'm so sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing. He always had a fun story to pass on or a joke to tell. He loved nick-names, he was the first person to call me "Goldy" I think I was nine or ten years old. He knew how to make you feel special, even if it was as simple as giving you a nick-name, or honking every time he passed your house at 6am. (...I know he honked when he passed everyone's house but it still felt special.) He was a coach in hockey for me, and many young Harrow men, paving the way and showing us how to volunteer and support youth sports.
Every time someone "toots" their horn, …. I'll still be looking in the rear view mirror for you Ronnie!

I was deeply saddened by the news to hear of Mr. McDonald’s passing. Being a neighbor growing up as a child, I have very fond childhood memories of playing (catch and other games) on the McDonald property and swimming in the family pool. I remember Mr. McDonald was always so patient with and encouraging to me. My heartfelt sympathies to you, Mrs. McDonald, and the rest of the family, especially my friends/schoolmates growing up Carl, Mary, Jeff, and Judy. Your former neighbor, David Hernandez (Newport Beach, CA)

I feel so sad today! Many memories creep through my head of you Uncle Ronnie! I can still see you the day my mom passed away and you said to me, "Uncle Ronnie is here for you!" That memory popped in my head today! We are going to miss you, the toot toot and your thumbs up wave when you saw us. You will always always hold a special place in my heart and I will NEVER forget you! I know my dad, your older brother, and my mom welcomed you today with open arms! Lots of friends there to play pool and have a beer with. Grandma and Grandpa McDonald I am sure were happy to see you! May you RIP and continue to drive the Heaven 500! When I hear a little toot toot, I will look, because you just never know it just could be Uncle Ronnie sending me a message! Love you, your niece!! xo
