Grandma, we love and miss you so much. I am so happy you are at peace and made whole once again. You must be dancing for joy up there in heaven and so happy to be reunited once again with Grandpa. I’m so grateful for all the memories I have with you both and will cherish them always. You were so patient and kind even though I was such a pest who followed you around like your shadow. Although, I somehow doubt you minded. Or if you did, you never once complained. No one could tell a bible story the way you did, I was so captivated by your storytelling that I never wanted them to end. I would beg you for just one more and even though you were half asleep and completely worn out, you could never say no. Thank you for being the best grandmother that a kid could ask for, and the most amazing great grandma to my kiddos. The times you spent with us in Florida when Jayden and Olivia were little, will forever be in my heart. Jayden kept you young and to him you hung the moon. You were his “Ma” and he could do no wrong in your eyes. I look forward to the day I’ll see you again. You’re finally home Grandma and I will rejoice because you are free.

Grandma, we can't even imagine the wonderous things you must see and feel in the presence of our Holy Creator. I will always remember the Bible stories you told us at bed time when we would visit for the summer. I was reading the book of Samuel to our children last week and could tell the whole story without reading it because that was one of my favorites and you would tell it to me so many times. Your legacy will be remembered as a servant hearted and kind woman and I pray we pass this on to our own children. You were and will always be loved. We will miss you but there will be rejoicing when we meet again.

Grandma, I know you’re in a better place, but it makes me sad to see you go. I know Grandpa couldn’t wait to pat his “Doll” and reunite. Give him a big kiss for me!! I’ll cherish every summer and Christmas vacation, your bedtime Bible stories, and date filled cookies.
