Obituary of John Joseph Swartz

SWARTZ, John Joseph 71 years. Passed away peacefully on March 19, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Barbara Truman (Faucher). Loving father of Aaron (Sarah) Swartz, Leah (Steve) Beneteau, Renee (Greg) Leal, Larry (Stephanie) Truman. Loving Papa of Pierce, Reid, Avery, Anson, Emerson, Aliviah, Brennan and Luke. Dear brother of Carol (Rick) Fuschi, the late Ken (Lynn) Swartz, Mike Swartz and Steven Swartz, Dear brother-in-law of Ron (Luanne) Faucher and the late Antoinette Faucher. Also remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. John began a teaching career in 1969 at St. Anthony's School, Harrow, Cardinal Carter High School, Leamington and at the separate school board office, retiring in 2001 with 32 ½ years of service. John was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5350 and served as Past Grand Knight and former District Deputy of District 21. A private family funeral service was held. Cremation to follow. A life celebration event will be held at the K of C Hall Harrow, 62 King St. E., at a later date. Interment of ashes at a later date in Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
